MT donates a new fiberscope for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Infermi Hospital in Rimini

On June 30, 2025, we delivered a latest-generation fiberscope to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Infermi Hospital in Rimini, a cutting-edge department that takes care of premature or critically ill newborns every day.

Dr. Gina Ancora, Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit-Neonatology, in the presence of Dr. Francesca Raggi, Director of the Hospital and part of the team of doctors and nurses who take care of the little patients every day, explained the characteristics and benefits of the new instrument.

With us also the representatives of the La Prima Coccola Association, which has been actively collaborating with the department for 11 years: President Alessandro Marchi and Vice President Chiara Soldati, who made this donation possible.

The new fiberscope will allow the NICU greater operational autonomy and can be used not only in the operating room, but also directly at the newborns' bed, thanks to its powerful light source.
