Open Tech 2026: MT toolholders on Muratec machines

From October 6th to 8th in Granollers, Protec Proyectos Técnicos y Suministros—MT’s exclusive dealer in Spain—showcased MT solutions for CNC lathes at Maquinser’s Open Tech 2026 event.

Visitors were able to see MT toolholders mounted directly onto the turrets of the machines on display, including the Muratec MT1065.

This year’s edition focused on process automation for efficient, reliable, and unattended production.

It was in this context that the MT-TPS Touch Probe Shield was highlighted. This device enables in-process measurements directly on the CNC lathe, even in the presence of dust, coolant, and chips. In automated production processes, the MT-TPS helps reduce scrap and non-conformities, thereby improving reliability and efficiency.
