MT precision turning solutions to the Okuma Open House in Kumamoto (JP)

Together with our exclusive Japanese dealer M-N Tooling, we showcased some of our CNC lathe toolholders at the Okuma Open House in Kumamoto, Japan, on October 9 and 10, 2025. Among the innovative solutions on display:

• the Driven Broaching Toolholder, which allows broaching, internal and external gears and keyways to be performed directly on the lathe, without the use of dedicated machines, with a reduction of machining times and costs;
• the MT-TPS Touch Probe Shield, dedicated to in-process part measurement on the lathe, designed to overcome problems caused by the presence of dust, chips, and coolant in the work area.

With over 12,000 models in our catalog, we continue to look for solutions to improve turning efficiency and precision.
